Elizabeth Hacala, Chair
Elizabeth is the mother of two children in Upper El at Oak Meadow: Edward and Isabel. She and her husband Chuck enrolled Edward and Isabel at Oak Meadow in 2006, moving them from Bedford public schools. Since coming to Oak Meadow, Elizabeth served two years as the room parent for Ms. Winn's class, one year as the OMPA Vice-Chair and most recently as OMPA Chair. Elizabeth left the software industry six years ago and now works as a non-profit executive manager.
Andrea Sorgi, Vice Chair
Andrea is a room parent for Mrs. Berrier’s class and serves on various Oak Meadow committees, including Coordinator of Staff Appreciation events. She also volunteers in and around Acton. Five years ago, Andrea left an investment career to stay at home with her two children, son Zachary (Lower El) and daughter Robyn (Lower El).
Audrey Kauff, Treasurer
Audrey has one child at Oak Meadow: Luca Ragozzino, who is in Mrs. Hickey’s Children’s House class. Since coming to OMMS in September 2007, Audrey has been volunteering for a variety of events. In addition, Audrey is a communications consultant. She and her family live in Westford.
Maria Powers, Secretary
Maria is mother to Trey, who just began Upper El this year after being exclusively homeschooled, and Ainsleigh, who is very excited to start Lower El next year. Since coming to Oak Meadow, Maria and her husband Jay have been Co-Room Parents for Mr. Gagnon, and have relished every moment of their educational journey here. For the past ten years, Maria has been Assistant to the Director at Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House in Concord, while Jay is Buildings & Grounds Supervisor there; they are live-in caretakers on the property as well. In rare spare moments, Maria takes great delight in seeing the progress Trey has made in fencing and Ainsleigh in ballet.
